The original Tire Lettering Pen.

Back in the good old days, tires used to have white letters on the sidewalls. We're here to bring back the original trend of colored tire letters!

How to apply Tire Paint:

1. Clean the tires well with soap and a stiff tire brush. Repeat this process until suds are white and not dirty or brown, and then rinse off with a hose or pressure washer.

2. Prep the surface by gently applying a degreaser like acetone or nail polish remover with a clean rag or towel. Tires naturally have lots of oils on the surface, and you'll want to remove these prior to applying Tire Paint for the best possible bond.
3. Shake your Tire Paint Pen for 30-60 seconds. This helps get the ink flowing.
4. Press the tip down against a hard, clean surface to initiate paint-flow into the tip of the pen. This may take a few seconds the first time you do it. You will need to do this frequently while painting your tires in order to keep proper flow. Do NOT do this on the surface of the tire otherwise you risk paint dripping everywhere (we learned this the hard way). Make sure there is enough paint in the tip to go on your tires evenly, but not enough t where it drips all over.

5. Carefully apply Tire Paint to the tire surface. Use short strokes and press the tip down again after every letter or so to consistently keep proper paint flow. Make sure to outline the edges and fill in each letter fully. Apply 2-3 coats total, and let your first coat dry for about 2-3 hours before applying your second coat. Then let the second coat dry for 2-3 hours before applying your final coat.

BONUS TIP: Use a q-tip or toothpick with a little bit of your degreaser to clean up the edges if your go over the lines with your Tire Paint. Nobody's perfect!
